    • PLANAX Thermotape is used for threadless binding and spine taping of pads, brochures, catalogues, books, etc. with the PLANAX Thermomatic-Binder.

    PLANAX Thermotape is coated with top quality PLANATOL hot melt adhesive. The adhesive film exhibits a thermoplastic behaviour, i.e. gradually softening at increasing ambient temperature and hardening at lower temperature.

    We stock PLANAX Thermotape in a variety of different colours and sizes, which are also available in either Linen or Paper.

    We also stock Thermo Binder Strips for use with the PLANAX Copybinder.

    The Cobi Strips, coated on one side with Planatol hotmelt, are the central element in the binding process. During the binding process the glue is heated, the strips are pressed around the document spine and bound with each individual leaf edge. The textile structure gives documents a high-quality and elegant appearance.
