    Direct Thermal Paper (DTP)

    Direct thermal media is designed with the ink embedded in the material. The ink comes to the surface of the paper when heat is applied thus creating the image. The material can be cold laminated.

    Ideal for indoor applications such as flip charts, posters, signs or banners.

    Thermal Transfer Paper (TTP)

    Thermal transfer media has a large ink ribbon adhered on top of the printing material. This media is run through the printer and areas which come in direct contact with heat from the print heads are "transferred" to the paper, thus creating the image in the colour of the ribbon.

    May be hot or cold laminated and is more durable than the DTP standard paper. Ideal for indoor and outdoor applications such as flip charts, posters, signs, retail pop, banners.
